Now it is the most sacred place for the Buddhists in Lhasa. Then you will visit the traditional Tibet Medical Factory to witness how the miraculous Tibetan medicine was produced.

We would like to suggest you to take a walk at the Barkhore Street in the evening on your own. There is a famous local handy crafts market on this street where you can enjoy the fork customers and appreciate local products.

Travel Tips: To protect the Potala Palace, there is a restriction which only allowed 2000 tourists to visit the palace everyday and visit time need to be finished in one-hour for each tourist. So we may follow a different order of the tour itinerary, for instance, visiting the Jokhang Temple first in the morning and Potala Palace in the afternoon or swop the schedule with Day 3 to avoid the crowns in the high season (From April to October). In the early morning and evening, hundreds or thousands of pilgrims or local religious people come to the Jokhang Temple and circle around the Barkhore Street. You will appreciate how consecrated the city is and how devotional the religious people are!
